Lilla P opens on 14th Street

The Meatpacking District welcomes Lilla P's first retail location to 14th Street, which opened earlier this week. Lilla P began making well thought t-shirts 13 years ago in the Meatpacking District and has developed into a brand carrying high quality classics, offered in 1,200 retailers around the world. The small store acts as a perfect showcase for their brand and is located directly across the street from Stella McCartney at 420 West 14th Street.

Lunch at MPD

Beginning at noon today, Monday March 14th, THE CAFE is launching at our local neighborhood French American Restaurant, MPD. Under the direction of Executive Chef Geoff Rudaw, the Café menu will serve LUNCH Monday through Friday, noon to 3:30p.m.
MPD is offering a 15% lunch discount for those working in the neighborhood – please bring your business card to receive it.

Spring Break @ The Collective
In celebration of Spring Break, The Collective at 1 Little West 12th Street will begin a week long celebration tomorrow night. Tuesday March 8th will be the first night of a week long celebration featuring DJ's, drink specials and give aways. More info at The Collective's website.

Kiehl's Coming Soon

No need to go all the way over to 3rd Avenue for Kiehl's anymore, as the skin care pharmacy is beginning work to open their new store at 400 West 14th Street. Construction is currently under way and Racked reports that Kiehl's is hiring for positions at the new location through their website. Kiehl's takes place of what was formerly Kimberly Taylor, and will be located right across the street from the Apple store.

Double Seven

In anticipation of Double Seven returning to the Meatpacking District soon, David Rabin updates Guest of a Guest on his project. Double Seven is set to re-open at 63 Gansevoort Street later this year and will be a great addition to NYC nightlife. Read the interview here.
