Details Magazine Block Party 2008
Details Block Party weekend kicked off with a VIP party at the Highline Ballroom. 350 of Details readers and many MPDI members enjoyed an evening of cocktails and supported the MPDI through a silent auction with more than 70 items.
On Saturday December 6th Details magazine hosted its second annual Holiday Block Party. Details readers relaxed in style at the lounge on the Gansevoort Hotel roof featuring Jose Cuervo Platino cocktails and free massages from Le Blanc Spa Resort.Nearly 50 stores offered shopping incentives while interactive offerings occurred throughout the day and included: Free blowouts at Equinox Fitness by Red Market Salon; A Rock ‘N’ Roll Denim Demo at Buckler; A suiting expert at Theory; A cooking class at Spice Market; A style consultant at ADAM; A tie tying lesson at Massimo Bizzocchi and A poker lesson at Los Dados. The day ended with a packed after-party at Brass Monkey on Little West 12th Street.
