NEW YORK MAGAZINE'S 18 ANNUAL “REASONS TO LOVE NEW YORK" ISSUE FEATURING THE MEATPACKING DISTRICT

Celebrating the city’s return to thriving creativity and electric spontaneity, we are honored to be featured on the cover of New York Magazine’s 18th annual “Reasons to Love New York” issue. Photographed by the brilliantly talented Pelle Cass, this detailed and vibrant work is nothing short of a masterpiece, and it is our sincerest pleasure to have been home to its creation.

To quote the outlet, “[How] do you get 72 New Yorkers together for one image? We invited them to meet us at one particularly New York- y street corner in the Meatpacking District (Little West 12th and Washington Streets).” Here’s the funny bit… this isn’t exactly one image. There were 10,912 photos taken on shoot day and collaged into this epic Where’s Waldo of notable New Yorkers. According to New York Magazine’s photo director Jody Quon, “It was really like putting on a wedding,” and “ It takes a village to shoot a village.”
