WINTER OUTING GUIDE
It’s winter and it’s cold. Two facts as New Yorkers that we know all too well. However, that doesn’t mean you should be hibernating all season long. NYC & Company’s new Winter Outing initiative is designed to remind you to get out and enjoy the greatest city in the world – even in the coldest months. So bundle up and enjoy the city instead of Netflix and chilling. Here’s suggestions for what to do in Meatpacking:
Jasper Johns at the Whitney – Warm up with the Whitney Museum for the final days of the Jasper Johns: Mind/Mirror exhibition. Featuring five hundred works of art and seven decades of creativity, this must-see exhibition offers a fresh take on a living legend. Artechouse – You can always count on Artechouse for a thrilling experience no matter what the season is. On view until January 17th is Machine Hallucination, a returning exhibition created by Refik Anadol. Up next in the experiential space is Trust, a data driven, audiovisual exhibition that elaborates on the multiple meanings and implications of the concept of trust.Trust will open on January 31st, but advance tickets are available for purchase now.
