A Very Meatpacking Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving arrives next week, and if you’re still sorting out the menu or the table, the neighborhood has you covered with last-minute holiday prep. This year, we partnered with Feast On Us for catering and walked through Chelsea Market to build a complete tablescape in one afternoon.
Setting the Table
We started at Anthropologie, where a few anchor pieces shaped the entire setting: Madeline Embroidered Napkins (sets of four at $48), Morgan Lilac flutes (set of two in-store for $28), and simple taper candles ($9.95).
From there, MUJI supplied the foundation with stoneware plates ($15.90), everyday plates ($4.90), dark brown bowls and mugs ($6.90), and stainless-steel flatware ($6.90 per piece). A clean, versatile base for any Thanksgiving spread.
Damselfly Flowers added the festive feel with glass pinecone taper holders (4 for $54.40 after discount), two sets of small napkins ($15.30), and a lidded stoneware pumpkin ($14.45).
At Chelsea Market Baskets, we picked up small accents that helped bring some warmth to the table: two checkered tablecloths (two for $20), three mini plush pumpkins ($17.85), a stoneware pumpkin with lid ($11.95), a pinch pot ($11.95), Jelly Belly autumn mix ($7.95), and dark chocolate shaped like acorns ($10.95).
The finishing touches, which added personality and texture, were sourced from Pearl River Mart: a porcelain chopstick holder ($9), a blue rice-pattern bowl ($3.95), and black floral teacups ($5 each).
The Meal
For the meal itself, Feast On Us is offering Thanksgiving catering with both drop-off and pickup service. Orders are open through Tuesday, November 25, at noon.
Whether you need the full spread or a few dishes to round out what you’re cooking, their team makes holiday hosting straightforward.
