West Side Fest 2024

Join us on July 12–14 for West Side Fest, a celebration of arts and culture on the West Side of Manhattan. Enjoy artmaking, workshops, dancing, crafts, and other special programming across participating organizations from the West Side Cultural Network (WSCN).

SATURDAY, JULY 13

1 - 4 PM: Help build a clayscape! Have fun in the sun imagining your perfect beach day in clay with Greenwich House Pottery! Grab some clay and create your favorite things at the shore—create a beach umbrella, bikini and snorkel or sculpt your favorite sea creature! Get a little messy and let your creativity flow! All are welcome to help us create our temporary beachscape installation.

1 - 4 PM: Meatpacking Makers with Lauren Weinstein. Design and decorate a paper fan to take home with you.

2 - 4 PM: Steel Pan Performance by Earl Brooks Jr. 

SUNDAY, JULY 14

11 AM - 4 PM: Complimentary custom portraits by artist Laura Baran. Limited number of portraits available. Sign up here.

2 - 4 PM: Enjoy the afternoon on the plaza while listening to a jazz band (Jun Iida (@juniidamusic)Alex Claffy (@claffybass) + Adam Ray (@adamraydrums))
