Fall By Design In Meatpacking

BY Meatpacking BIDPUBLISHED 10.01.2026

October marks the official arrival of fall in Meatpacking. The leaves are turning, the pumpkin is spicing, the air is crisp, and the District is buzzy.

This month brings plenty to discover, from new fall menus and weekend brunches to new businesses, fall fashion and eyewear, cocktails and coffee, and a renewed focus on the design destinations that make Meatpacking a place for the home as much as fashion.

October is also a major cultural month for the neighborhood as the Whitney Museum of American Art opens its blockbuster Roy Lichtenstein exhibition. Across the District, Movies on the Cobbles returns, Girls Go Explore comes to Meatpacking, and the BID gathers the community for its Annual Meeting on the High Line.

Consider this your guide to fall in Meatpacking. Grab The District Tea, your favorite fall beverage, take a walk through the neighborhood and see what's new.
