Fiber Arts Week

Contemporary Fiber Art and Textile Art will take center stage in New York with Follow the Thread, a festival spread throughout the city with a program of events, including exhibitions, installations, meetings, conferences, that will span art, sustainability, and fashion. Promoted and organized by ArteMorbida Textile Arts Magazine, a magazine specializing in contemporary textile languages, the event opens on Friday, November 3 (6-8 pm) at the Maker's Studio at the Chelsea Market. Outdoors in the Meatpacking District, in collaboration with Ivy Brown Gallery, Federica Patera and Andrea Sbra Perego's immersive installation and Theda Sandiford's shopping carts will be on display Monday - Sunday, 12 AM - 12PM.
