The Meatpacking District is a hub of female founded, owned, and operated businesses and we are continuously inspired by their genius. Day in and day out, we are proud to be the home of women in art, tech, fashion, and hospitality that are raising the standards, inventing new concepts, and making history. While we aim to support their endeavors year-round, here are several ways to celebrate and support local businesses this International Women’s Day (March 8) and all Women’s History Month long:

March 8:

Enjoy free Pilates and Yoga Class at ASICS at 6:30 PM

Listen in on an IWD TechTalk with some of the most influential and inspiring women of Google at the Google Store, 6 PM.

March 9: Explore the LA FEMME Art Show at Gallery 23 featuring female artists all month long.

March 10: Check out Triangle Loft from 6 - 9 PM to experience the opening of their newest exhibition entitled, “If not now, then when?”- a collection of work from female artists.

March 15: Engage in an Immersive Investment Experience with Lady of Record + Samsung837 at their one night event celebrating Women’s History Month. Learn from New York’s top leaders and explore the endless possibilities of wealth building.

Until March 31: Drop by The Biergarten at The Standard, High Line and order a brew by woman-owned Talea Beer Co. By doing so, you will be entered to win a one-night stay at The Standard, High Line and a beer and cheese tasting for two in one of Talea's Brooklyn taprooms.

Women's History Month is an important time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women throughout history. RSVP for any of these events, honor the women who have made an impact in your life, and encourage the women who are currently paving the way to a brighter future.
